Sentimental Value

      I often find that sentimental value is the real value attached to jewelry.  Oh yes, the diamond may be dollar wise worth more, however, I still thinks this pales in comparison to sentimental value.  Women have the amazing ability to remember every piece of jewelry, who gave it to them, when it was given, and for what occasion.  It is these memories that make it valuable, not necessarily the price that was paid.  We all cherish our relationships, and that is why I am a firm believer that jewelry is so valuable, because it expresses those emotions and lasts so long.
